The Ferrari 250 GTO High End model by Kyosho

There has been quite a bit of confusion among many collectors in distinguishing the high end model of the Ferrari 250 GTO by Kyosho from the standard version.

So here is a video of the high end version to help in the process.

Here's a quick tip: the air scoops in the hood of the high end are open while in the standard version they are closed.

The Lamborghini Countach Walter Wolf specials are considered to be the model which saved Lamborghini. Canadian Walter Wolf who was widely popular in F1 racing was linked to Lamborghini in the 70s and turned the tide against bankruptcy.

The model shown here is a very well detailed 1/12 Kyosho which is not only rare, but is also one of the best models of the Walter Wolf Countach

The Lancia 037 is one of the many Group B cars that were finally shelved because they were considered too fast and dangerous to race. 

In 1983, Walter Rohrl and Markku Alen drove the 037 to take the 198 World Rally Championship Constructors Title. 

This was the last time that a rear wheel drive machine would win the WRC.

Here we have 4 versions of the Ferrari 575 GTC by Kyosho. This vehicle was designed for "Competitione" as denoted by the C in GTC. Based loosely on the 575 road car. the 575 GTC quickly earned respect as one of the more reliable racing cars despite being a new model.

Kyosho Ferrari 250 GTO

The Ferrari GTO is considered one of the most beautiful Ferraris of all time. As such, models of the car are in high demand and are getting harder and harder to come by. 

Ferrari 512 BBi by Kyosho

Here is the Kyosho version of the Ferrari 512 BBi.

The most significant difference between the 512 BB and the 512 BBi is that the BBi has fuel injection. Hence the "i"

Cosmetically there were a few changes also, the most visible being the driving lights up front in the BBi.


This Kyosho model has excellent details and it was great fun taking photos of it for documentation purposes.
