Bugatti EB110 GT Silver 1/18 Diecast Car Model by Autoart

The Bugatti EB 110 is the model that catapulted Bugatti back on the radar (and wishlist) of modern car enthusiasts.

In fact, this car had 552 hp which propelled the car to a unbelievable 343 kph! Quite a feat for production street cars in the mid to early 90s.

However, the Bugatti company declared bankruptcy in 1995 due to a number of reasons, not the least of which was the recession that hit European and North American economies.

In 1998 Volkswagen bought and revived the Bugatti brand and this gave birth to the spiritual successor of the EB110, the legendary Veyron.

The AE86 is most definitely a cult car particularly here in the Philippines. Thanks to the Initial D Series, a Trueno generates attention from most car enthusiasts here, young and old.

This well detailed model is one of two models by Autoart that are available via Discount Models Wholesale. A true AE86 fan will surely want to have both of them.

The Porsche 959 marked the beginning of a new style of Porsche. At the time of its release, it was a very modern looking Porsche that was quite a departure from the current 911. To this day, the current 911 models have very much in common with the 959 showing an evolutionary change in styling that kept the links to the 959.

Originally developed for Group B racing, the 959 generated quite a lot of mystique in the US because it was not street legal in the US until 1999 which was quite a wait considering that the 959 was produced from 1986 to 1993 only.

This AutoArt model is an excellent casting of the 959 and is sure to please the Porsche collector.

Some old friends revisited

While doing some housekeeping on my PC's I came across some photos of models that I had before. What follows are all in 1:18 scale and are actually eligible to appear in toys I wish I kept.

However if I don't exercise restraint in my choices, most of the toys I have sold will fall under this category. After all my basis is truly " if you like it, buy it".
