I've forgotten how awesome this set looked complete.

Still have a few of the items here in loose but mint condition.

Sharing a few Choro-Qs aka Penny Racers

These small models are also favorites in the collector community.

Despite their diminutive size, the old, discontinued ones can cost a pretty penny nowadays. (pun intended)

These cute little toys are based on the illustrations of Yasuhiro Nakamura and the name Choro is actually an abbreviation of "cute" in Japanese.

Tomica Coca Cola Antique Collection revisited - for sharing only

 
Way back in 2000, Tomica released the Coca Cola Antique Collection. It was composed of a total of 4 vehicles, packed in individuals boxes.

Much later, they would be releasing a gift set with the same vehicles.

Great items if you can find them.

The last time I had these toys in stock was over a decade ago.

New Tomicas for release May 2017 to August 2017

The 829 Japan website  just shared incoming Tomicas that are due for release between May to August 2017.

INCOMING REGULAR TOMICAS

Most (but not all) new releases come into 2 colors. one is a limited edition color, This would be the one with a longer description under the name.

For instance, in the Subaru BRZ below, the limited edition is the yellow one.

One caveat though, sometimes, the regular model exceeds the value of the limited edition. On my part, I simply buy both to be sure since I normally buy at least 3 (ideally 5) of each model so that my own model is free when I sell them in the future :-)
